Senior Research Analyst II
Mr. Fossa is a professional with extensive experience in clinical research, environmental epidemiology, and municipal public health. He has a passion for research conducted with excellence, practicality, and creativity in mind. Mr. Fossa received his PhD in epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health focusing on access to urban greenspace as a determinant of mental health among older adults. Prior to earning his PhD, he worked as an analyst at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center conducting research on the open sharing of clinicians’ notes with patients (OpenNotes) and as a staff epidemiologist at the Boston Public Health Commission. His role as Senior Research Analyst at Arbor Research is to provide support in all areas of research project planning and execution including project proposals, statistical programing, and manuscript drafting. Most of his effort at Arbor Research will be on spent on real-world-evidence (RWE) investigations of phosphate, vitamin D, and TSH regulators for patients with CKD and The Symptoms of Lower Urinary Tract Research Network projects (LURN and LURN2).
