Research Analyst I

Taya joined Arbor Research in November 2024. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health with a minor in Gender, Health, and Health Care Equity from the University of Iowa in 2021. She then earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health in 2023. During her time at Gillings, Taya worked as a Graduate Assistant at Duke University’s Student Wellness Center and served as a Teaching Assistant for two MPH Core courses. Taya’s research interests surround minority health, with a particular interest in sexual and reproductive health and substance use-related health outcomes within Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities.
