Arbor Research Collaborative for Health (Arbor Research), a worldwide provider of health policy research, clinical studies, and health information technology services, announced today that it has been awarded a 2-year, $1.5 million contract to support the Agency for Healthcare Research Quality (AHRQ) in their PCORTF strategic planning. The PCORTF allows for the Agency to broadly disseminate patient centered outcomes research (PCOR) findings, leverage and support innovation in digital health, clinical decision support, and new models of care, and to train researchers in the methods used to conduct PCOR.

“Arbor Research has a rich history of generating evidence that helps health care and policy decision-makers”, says Nathan West, the key project leader at Arbor Research. “We are looking forward to working closely with AHRQ to ensure the PCORTF strategic plan focuses resources and attention to the most crucial issues and challenges.” Under this contract, Arbor Research will focus on on-going strategic stakeholder engagement, targeted dissemination, governance, operations, and evaluation to fully support efficient and effective program development and management.

“We are honored to help AHRQ advance the impact for both individual PCORTF projects and the overall PCORTF program—and to ultimately use evidence to drive improvements in health and health care,” says Dr. Christopher Spera, President and CEO of Arbor Research.
